Complaints and returns

You have 30 days to return your order (withdrawal from a distance contract). The period is counted from the date on which you receive the last item covered by the order.

In accordance with the applicable law, we refund the money no later than 30 days from the day on which we receive the returned products. However, this process is usually faster.

You will receive the refund by the same method as the form of payment you chose. If you paid for the order cash on delivery or by traditional bank transfer, the refund will be made to the bank account you specify in the Return Form.

The Consumer is liable for any reduction in the value of the item covered by the contract resulting from using it in a way that goes beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item.

How do you return an order? It's very simple!

Returns and complaints policy

Right of withdrawal from the contract

A customer who is a consumer has the right to withdraw from the sales contract within 30 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 30 days after the day on which the customer took possession of the item, or on which a third party other than the carrier and indicated by the customer took possession of the Product.

A consumer is also understood to mean a natural person concluding a contract directly related to their business activity, where the content of that contract shows that it is not of a professional nature for that person, resulting in particular from the subject of the business activity they carry out, as made available under the provisions on the Central Register and Information on Economic Activity (Centralna Ewidencja i Informacja o Działalności Gospodarczej).

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the sales contract by means of an unequivocal statement sent to us by post or by e-mail to sklep@football-mat.com.

The Customer may use the model withdrawal form, which constitutes Annex No. 1 to the Terms and Conditions of our Online Shop. Using the model form is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for the customer to send information concerning the exercise of their right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Please note that the right to withdraw from a distance contract does not apply to the contracts specified in Article 38 of the Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014 (ustawa o prawach konsumenta), including, among others, a contract whose subject matter is a non-prefabricated item manufactured to the consumer's specifications or intended to meet their individual needs.

Effects of withdrawal from the contract

In the event of withdrawal from this contract, we will refund to the customer all payments received from them, including the costs of delivering the item (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the customer's choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery method offered in our Online Shop), without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we were informed of the decision to exercise the right to withdraw from this contract. We will make the refund using the same means of payment as the customer used in the original transaction, unless the customer has expressly agreed to a different solution; in any event, the customer will not incur any fees in connection with this refund.

Please note that we may withhold the refund until we receive the Product or until we are provided with proof that it has been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Please send the Product back to: FOOTBALL MAT, ul. Gęsia 53, 97-300 Piotrków Trybunalski without undue delay, and in any event no later than 30 days from the day on which we were informed of the withdrawal from the sales contract. The deadline is met if the Product is sent back before the 30-day period expires. Please note that the customer will be required to bear the direct costs of returning the item.

LIABILITY FOR THE PRODUCT'S CONFORMITY WITH THE CONTRACT

In accordance with Article 43a et seq. of the Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014, the Seller is liable to the Customer who is a consumer for the Product's conformity with the sales contract. A consumer is also understood to mean a natural person concluding a contract directly related to their business activity, where the content of that contract shows that it is not of a professional nature for that person, resulting in particular from the subject of the business activity they carry out, as made available under the provisions on the Central Register and Information on Economic Activity.

The Seller is not liable for the Product's lack of conformity with the contract to the extent referred to in Article 43a(2) or (3) of the Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014 if the consumer, at the latest at the time the contract was concluded, was expressly informed that a specific feature of the Product deviates from the conformity requirements set out in Article 43a(2) or (3) of the Act and expressly and separately accepted the absence of that specific feature of the Product.

The Seller is liable for any lack of conformity of the Product with the contract that exists at the time of its delivery and becomes apparent within two years of that time, unless the period during which the Product is fit for use, as specified by the Seller, its legal predecessors or persons acting on their behalf, is longer. A lack of conformity of the Product with the contract that becomes apparent before two years have passed since the Product's delivery is presumed to have existed at the time of its delivery, unless proven otherwise or unless this presumption is incompatible with the specific nature of the Product or the nature of the lack of conformity of the Product with the contract.

A notification of the Product's non-conformity with the contract should be sent by e-mail to sklep@football-mat.com or in writing to the address of the Seller's registered office. The notification may be sent using the form constituting Annex No. 2 to the Terms and Conditions.

If the Product does not conform to the contract, the consumer may demand that it be repaired or replaced. The Seller may carry out a replacement when the consumer demands repair, or the Seller may carry out a repair when the consumer demands replacement, if bringing the Product into conformity with the contract in the manner chosen by the consumer is impossible or would involve excessive costs for the Seller. If repair and replacement are impossible or would involve excessive costs for the Seller, the Seller may refuse to bring the Product into conformity with the contract.

If the Product does not conform to the contract, the consumer may submit a statement on a price reduction or on withdrawal from the contract when:
a) the Seller has refused to bring the Product into conformity with the contract;
b) the Seller has not brought the Product into conformity with the contract;
c) the lack of conformity of the Product with the contract persists even though the Seller has tried to bring the Product into conformity with the contract;
d) the lack of conformity of the Product with the contract is so significant that it justifies a price reduction or withdrawal from the contract without first using the option of repair or replacement;
e) it is clear from the Seller's statement or from the circumstances that the Seller will not bring the Product into conformity with the contract within a reasonable time or without excessive inconvenience to the consumer.
The Customer may not withdraw from the contract if the lack of conformity of the Product with the contract is immaterial.

The Seller refunds to the consumer the amounts due as a result of exercising the right to a price reduction without undue delay, no later than 14 days from the day of receiving the consumer's statement on the price reduction.

In the event of withdrawal from the contract, the consumer returns the Product to the Seller without undue delay, at the Seller's expense. The Seller refunds the price to the consumer without undue delay, no later than 14 days from the day of receiving the Product or proof that it has been sent back. The Seller refunds the price using the same method of payment as the consumer used, unless the consumer has expressly agreed to a different method of refund that does not involve any costs for them.

If this is necessary to assess physical defects, the Product should be delivered to: FOOTBALL MAT sp. z o.o., ul. Gęsia 53, 97-300 Piotrków Trybunalski.

The Seller responds to the Customer's notification within 14 calendar days of the day of its receipt. Failure to process the notification within this deadline is equivalent to accepting it.

The Seller covers the costs of collection, delivery, removal of defects or replacement of the Product with a new one.
